The general terms and conditions of sale of the Internet store Unguentarium are in accordance with Consumer Protection Act and written on the basis of recommendations of GZS (the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia) and international codes for e-commerce.

In cases where the order is made the legal or natural person performing a gainful activity, regardless of its legal form or ownership, is subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act only in cases where this is specifically mentioned in the law itself. In practice this means that corporate entities are also subject to these general terms of business, with the exception of point 5.1. (Withdrawal from order and refund). Legal entities do not have the option of withdrawing from the contract within 15 days of accepting the item without a reason, as is the case for consumers (natural persons).

The Unguentarium online store® (hereinafter referred to as "Unguentarium®" or "store" is managed by UNGG d.o.o..

The buyer is a natural or legal person, taking into account the information provided at the time of registration and submission of the order.

A natural person is a user who acquires or uses goods and services for purposes outside his professional or profit activity.

General Terms and Conditions include the operation of the Unguentarium® online store, user rights and business relationship between the supplier and the buyer.


Due to the characteristics of the online business, the offer of the online store Unguentarium® changes and updates quickly and often.


All prices are in euros and include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Prices are valid at the time of ordering, may change on a daily basis, and do not have a predefined period of validity.

The published prices and prices in the bids issued are irrevocable and are valid only for the purchase through Unguentarium®. Prices apply in case of payment with the payment methods listed below.

In the event that the price of a product changes during processing of the order, Unguentarium® will allow the buyer to withdraw from the purchase, and at the same time offer a solution that will go to mutual satisfaction.

The sales contract between the supplier and the buyer is concluded at the moment when the supplier (the online store Unguentarium®) confirms the order (the buyer receives an e-mail message confirming the purchase status "Order confirmed"). From this moment, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both the supplier and the buyer.

Some of the Al-Ambiq® brand products are only available on request and therefore have no stated price or are indicated as 0.00 EUR. For such products, the price is determined individually "by offer". The customer requests an offer via the online contact form or via email.


Unguentarium® provides the following payment methods:

  • by bank transfer to the account of the company UNGG d.o.o. (based on the offer, quotation),
  • with your PayPal account - If you want to pay in this way, in the billing process click on the "PAYPAL" button that will link you to your account, through which you will then make a payment (payment in English).

The Supplier issues an invoice with a breakdown of costs to the buyer.

The purchase contract or order is stored electronically on the provider's server and available to the customer at any time in their user profile (My Account).


The buyer can send the order via the online store, email or phone. In order to avoid misunderstandings in communication, we recommend that the orders be submitted via the website or in writing via email. We guarantee the accuracy of written orders. We do not accept any responsibility for telephone orders.

Orders from the shop "Unguentarium®" Shall be regarded as irrevocable and will be implemented. The consumer may, after the submission of an electronic order, in 24 hours withdraw on the basis of a notice of withdrawal to the e-mail address

Withdrawal from order and refund

The consumer can, within 15 days from the receipt of the goods, send a written notice of withdrawal from the order, without specifying the reasons for his decision. It is considered that the message is timely, if it is submitted within the deadline.
The consumer must, at the latest within 15 days after the withdrawal message, return the goods to the company.

Upon receiving the goods and finding that they are intact and unchanged, the company returns all payments made to the consumer in accordance with the law.
The only cost related to the withdrawal from the contract that the consumer is liable to pay is the cost of returning the goods.

Pursuant to Article 43 of the Consumer Protection Act, the return of cosmetic products and cosmetic ingredients is not possible.

Refunds of cosmetic products and ingredients can only be made if an error has been committed by Unguentarium (wrong quantities or incorrect items sent). In such a case, a complaint for a cosmetic product or ingredient may be sent only, if the packaging is not yet open and there is no removal of safety cover or protective film.

In case of wrongly shipped products, all the costs of re-sending are covered by the supplier (Unguentarium®).

For a quicker and easier solution of the problem, cooperation by the buyer is also necessary.
When returning goods, the consumer also sends an invoice for goods and personal data as well as a transaction account which he wishes the payment to be returned to.

We do not accept any shipments that have to be paid for (COD) without prior agreement.

Rejection of the order

The supplier may refuse the order for which he finds that he can not perform it under the specified conditions and with the information he has at his disposal.

Order processing

The supplier will begin with the activities necessary for the execution of the received orders immediately upon receipt. When choosing a payment option, a bank transfer will involve the execution of the order after the inflow of financial assets into the transaction account.

We are proud of the speed of our services. Orders are processed daily. Once the order has been received and processed, all changes are considered new orders.

Order storing

Delivered electronic orders or concluded purchase contracts are stored at the company headquarters. At the request of the consumer, the latter receives a copy to the e-mail address or physical address indicated in the order. The request can be submitted to our e-mail address info(at) or in writing to the company's headquarters.


The delivery deadline starts on the next business day at 10:00. At that time, the supplier will start performing the activities necessary for realization.

Method of delivery

The supplier will deliver the goods or services within the agreed time.

The contractual partner for the delivery of shipments is General Logistics Systems d.o.o. (GLS Slovenia), but the supplier reserves the right to choose another delivery service if this will enable him to fulfill the contract more efficiently.

Shipping costs

Handling and shipping costs are paid by the buyer or consignee.

For large orders (>140 kg) or transport on pallet(s), the shipping cost is determined subsequently by agreement with the client.

Customs and Brokerage Fees, Duties, and Taxes

For orders that are shipped to destinations outside of EU, you may have to pay duties and taxes to your country's government.

Unguentarium® does not estimate nor collect these duties and taxes on your behalf. Please contact your country's customs office to obtain an estimate of the duties and taxes, if any, you will have to pay.

We can not and will not alter, falsify, or in any other way misrepresent or undervalue the declared value of an international shipment. The full amount of the purchased items will be noted on the customs declaration.

In addition to duties and taxes, you may have to pay an additional brokerage fee to either your country's postal system or to delivery service provider. This fee, which is neither estimated nor collected by Unguentarium® on your behalf, covers the carrier's cost of expediting the clearance of your shipment through your country's customs process. Check with your local postal office to estimate any brokerage fees, if any, you will have to pay.

If you do not pay duties, taxes, or brokerage fees, then in many cases the parcel will be destroyed by your country's customs office and not sent back to us. In such cases, we will not issue a refund. We can only issue refunds for parcels that are returned to us.

For the amount of the commission on payment with bank transfer, please contact the bank where you make the payment.

Time of dispatch and delivery time

All products that are in stock are shipped within 2-10 business days after receiving your order. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays we do not carry out goods shipping.

The items have a delivery time of up to 15 working days. We will notify you in advance of the delivery date of items that can not be obtained within the deadline.

For distillers of the Al-Ambiq® brand, which are not in stock, the delivery time is 20 to 25 working days from payment of the invoice or by prior agreement.

If the courier of the delivery service cannot reach you at home, he will call you on the phone number you left when submitting the order. You will then agree to the appropriate delivery date for the package. If you are unavailable by the phone, you will be given a written notice in your mailbox.


Check the received goods immediately and in the presence of the delivery service person. All later claims of damage to goods will only be considered exceptionally by the delivery service, and the supplier cannot solve them in their name. Enter any damage in the record, which the delivery person is obliged to sign.

In case of damage to the package and the contents, please inform us in writing within 3 days of receiving the package and send us the photos to our e-mail address Do not discard the damaged package and content until the damage assessment process is completed.


Unguentarium® is committed to protecting your personal information. It’s your information, and we respect that. Our Privacy Policy gives you detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it and how we keep it secure. This Policy also sets out your right to request that we delete, update, transfer or provide you with access to your personal information. Please also note that this Privacy Policy only applies to personal information obtained by us – not information collected from your interactions with third parties.

How we collect your personal information?

Generally, we collect your information when you decide to interact with us. This could include purchasing online, over the phone, in person when you sign up to receive emails from us. We also look at how customers use our website, so that we can offer the best possible experience.

We collect information in a number of ways which are listed below:

  • when you register or use;
  • when you enter any event, prize draws or competitions run by Unguentarium;
  • when completing any forms for transactional, employment or other purposes;
  • when you buy products, gift certificates (details of transactions you make from Unguentarium (via the Website or App).

*When visiting our website we may collect an automatically populated IP address. An IP address is a unique number which allows a computer, group of computers or other internet connected device (such as your mobile or tablet) to browse the internet. We may also record the time and date of your visit, the pages that were requested, the referring website (if provided) and your internet browser version.

Social Media
Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for social media and messaging services like Facebook, YouTube or Pinterest, you may give us permission to access information from those accounts or services.

Why we collect your personal information and how we use it?

At Unguenatrium we like to get to know our customers – this is how we find new ways to provide you with an extraordinary experience. We use information about you in a number of ways, including providing services that you have requested, offering you a personalised experience and informing you about special events or exciting Unguentarium news. We might also use the information we have to contact you about any information we might need to process your orders, returns or queries.

To carry out our business and to provide a service or carry out a contract with you:

  • Fulfilment of and delivery of products and services you have ordered. We may share your personal information with our delivery partners and third party concessions.
  • Process payments. Unguentarium does not store any payment card numbers once the transaction has been completed. We share your personal information with credit card companies and other payment providers.
  • Contact you with important information relating to your booking or purchase, such as confirming your order, letting you know about returns and refunds.

Where we have your consent:

  • Send you marketing updates via email about all the latest news, events and offers at Unguentarium. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email. We share your personal information with a variety of third party email marketing providers who assist us in delivering our email marketing campaigns to you. Third Parties include: Mailchimp.
  • Use your details to show you advertising on such Social Media platforms as Facebook and Instagram or via other third party advertising that may appear on other websites you use. Online advertising channels we may use are: digital display, video on demand, search engine marketing, paid social - these are all on third party sites or platforms.
  • We may tailor emails and online advertising to the things you love, so they’re relevant to your location, what you have shown an interest in and the things you buy from us.

Where we have justifiable reason (legitimate interest):

  • Respond to customer service enquiries raised in the store, online, social media or on the phone.
  • Send an abandoned basket email via a third party supplier(s): Mailchimp, Shopify.
  • Invite you to provide feedback about our products and services in the form of online, email, or in-store surveys. We use this information to help us improve the quality of service provided; to monitor the quality of our products and services and to assist with the selection of future product and service lines. We use a third party service provider to assist us with customer surveys and feedback requests.
  • Analyse aggregated customer information with other interactions customers have with Unguentarium in order to continually improve the products and services we offer through our website and app. We do this using Google Analytics.
  • Anonymous track usage statistics on our Sites. By using this information, we are able to measure the effectiveness of our content and how visitors use our Sites and our Services. This allows us to learn what pages to target our adverts so that they’re more relevant to you. We do this using Google Analytics.
Sharing your information

We use third party platforms to manage and deliver customer relationship management (CRM); email marketing campaigns; online advertising, customer analytics, events; booking of appointments, fulfillment of orders, delivery, returns, refunds, IT services; etc. In providing the services, your personal information will, where applicable, be used by the service provider on our behalf.

We will check any third party that we use to ensure that they can provide sufficient guarantees regarding the confidentiality and security of your personal information. We will have written contracts with them which provide assurances regarding the protections that they will give to your personal information and their compliance with our data security standards and international transfer restrictions.

How can I unsubscribe from marketing communications?

If at any point you do not wish to hear from us there are a number of ways you can unsubscribe.

  • You can click onto the "unsubscribe" link in any communication that we send to you by email which will automatically unsubscribe you from that type of communication. Please also note that you may continue to receive communications which are already on route to you for a short period of time while your relevant unsubscribe request is being processed.
  • Alternatively, you can contact our customer services by email info(at) or by contact us form.
How long do we keep your personal information for?

We keep your personal information in line with our company retention policy. We only retain information for as long as it is required.

Confidentiality and security of your personal information

We are committed to keeping the personal information you provide to us secure and we will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or alteration. We do not sell your personal information for any purpose.

How to access your information and your other rights

You have the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you:

Your right of access

If you ask us, we’ll confirm whether we’re processing your personal information and, if so, provide you with a copy of that personal information (along with certain other details). If you require additional copies, we may need to charge a reasonable fee.

Your right to correct information

If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you’re entitled to have it corrected. If we’ve shared your personal information with others, we’ll let them know about the changes where possible. If you ask us, where possible and lawful to do so, we’ll also tell you who we’ve shared your personal information with so that you can contact them directly.

Your right to delete information

You can ask us to delete or remove your personal information in some circumstances such as where we no longer need it or if you withdraw your consent (where applicable). If we’ve shared your personal information with others, we’ll let them know about the erasure where possible. If you ask us, where it is possible and lawful for us to do so, we’ll also tell you who we’ve shared your personal information with so that you can contact them directly.

Your right to appeal to the Information Commissioner

I am aware that all the above requirements regarding the exercise of rights in connection with personal data can be addressed in writing to the operator, to the email info(at) I am aware that, for the needs of reliable identification in the case of exercising personal data rights, the operator may request additional information from me and can only refuse to act if they prove that they can not reliably identify me. I am aware that, upon my request, with which I exercise my rights with regard to the above personal data, the operator must respond without undue delay and no later than one month after the receipt of the request.


When we provide services, we want to make them easy, useful and reliable. Where services are delivered on the internet, this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device, for example, computer or mobile phone. These include small files known as cookies. They cannot be used to identify you personally.

These pieces of information are used to improve services for you through, for example: enabling a service to recognize your device so you don’t have to give the same information several times during one task recognizing that you may already have given a username and password so you don’t need to do it for every web page requested measuring how many people are using services, so they can be made easier to use and there’s enough capacity to ensure they are fast.

There are two types of cookie you may encounter when using the website:

  • First party cookies: These are our own cookies, controlled by us and used to provide information about usage of our site.
  • Third party cookies: These are cookies found in other companies’ internet tools which we are using to enhance our site, for example Facebook or Twitter have their own cookies, which are controlled by them.
_session_id Storing data on user activities online in a single visit. A cookie remains active only during the visit of the online store.
_shopify_visit Storing data for keeping statistics of visits online store. A cookie remains active for 30 minutes after visiting the online store.
cart Storing data on the contents of the basket of the individual user. A cookie remains active for another two weeks.
_shopify_uniq Count of visits to the website of each user. A cookie remains active until midnight the following day.
_secure_session_id Storing data on user activity online in a single visit for a subsequent placement of the order. A cookie remains active only during the visit of an online store.
storefront_digest Assigning user access to an online store, as long as it is password protected. A cookie remains active for an indefinite period of time.
_ga Recording visits to the website by Google Analytics. A cookie remains active for a short period of time.


User reviews and comments, and reviews of products written by buyers are part of the store's functionalities that are intended for the user community. The service provider allows the opinion to be written by any registered user of the store and, before the final publication, the service provider reviews it. The supplier will not publish any contributions or opinions that are in any way offensive or, in the opinion of the supplier, do not offer benefits other users or visitors.

By submitting an opinion or comment, the user explicitly agrees with the terms of use. It allows the supplier to publish a part or all of the text in all electronic and other media. The supplier has the right to use the content for unlimited time and for any purpose that is in the commercial interest of the supplier, including publication in advertisements or other marketing communications. At the same time, the author of the opinion declares and ensures that he owns material and moral rights for written opinions and comments, and that these rights are transferred to the supplier in a non-exclusive time-unlimited manner.


The supplier is making every effort to ensure the correctness and promptness of the information published on its pages. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the items, the delivery period or the price may change so quickly that the supplier fails to correct the information on the web pages. In such a case, the supplier will notify the buyer of the changes and allow him to withdraw from the order or to replace the ordered item.

The supplier is not responsible for the content of the opinions  about items, written by visitors. The supplier, before publishing, reviews and rejects those opinions, which include obvious falsehoods, are misleading or offensive. The supplier is not responsible for the information in the opinions and is disclaimed from any liability arising from the information in the opinions.

The supplier tries to provide accurate photographs of the sales items, but all photographs must be taken as symbolic. Photographs do not ensure product features.


The supplier respects the applicable consumer protection legislation. The supplier is striving to fulfill his duty to establish an efficient handling of complaints and to identify the person with whom, in the event of a problem, the buyer can connect by telephone or by e-mail.

Within five working days, the supplier will acknowledge the receipt of the complaint and inform the buyer, how long it will take to process, while also informing him about the course of the process throughout.

The supplier is aware that the essential characteristic of the consumer dispute, at least in terms of judicial resolution, is its disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs arising in the resolution of the dispute itself. This is also the main obstacle for the consumer not to initiate a dispute before a court. Therefore, the supplier strives to do his best to resolve any disputes in a consensual manner.
